Iranian Forces State Strike on US Base in Bahrain, During Widespread Military Operations.
Iran's military claims to have hit a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed operations throughout the Middle East in retaliation for a "massive" and ongoing offensive targeting the nation by the US and Israel.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an vicinity near the command center of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The extent of any impact is uncertain and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.
Missile Defenses Activated
In other parts of the Middle East, the UAE, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - all home to American military installations - reported they have intercepted missiles in their territorial skies.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence said it had intercepted several missiles seemingly aimed at the al-Udeid air base, the largest American base in the Middle East.
IRGC Statement
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared it was striking American facilities and interests as part of operation "Truthful Promise 4", in retaliation for the strikes on the Islamic Republic launched by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.
That US-Israeli operation - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted areas linked to the Tehran's leadership, with US President Donald Trump urging the people of Iran to rise up against the regime.

In Israel, sirens were heard nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces said it had detected an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates stated that the country has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses engaged the missiles with great effectiveness and shot down a series of missiles," it added.
It said missile fragments landed in a neighborhood in the capital, causing some material damage and killing a civilian.
The US Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the UAE Air Force.
