The Streaming Giant Chooses Ideal Star for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the real showdown isn’t set to occur until the third season, and a beloved, popular member has now been chosen.
The platform declared this week that the talented performer has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. This character has the ability to change into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will depict a rendition of that character reimagined as non-binary identifying, rather than as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and animated series.
Escola is joined by multiple recently announced actors tasked with bringing the organization to life, including leader the main antagonist, played by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as another operative, and a familiar face, who will appear as the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the desert kingdom.
Although Bon Clay is a important part of the group, the character won’t appear until One Piece the upcoming installment. Given season 2 set to cover the Little Garden segment, this represents a significant shift in the schedule of their first appearance, one that could signal more adjustments to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of sharp comedic timing and emotional depth makes them a standout choice for the part. Along with their current animated role in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and several accolades for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, showcasing the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s most celebrated figures.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece series is due to premiere for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
